...and you think most people who buy a MBP won't swap out the drive for a 7200RPM drive or an SSD and max out their memory?
Name : Arnold SchwarzeneggerStrange, the movie store is the thing that I am least excited about  But I still hope for new imac and/or mbp.
Why is it everyone says "Ooooh i want a new macbook pro!"? I personally like the macbooks much better. The keyboard is nicer IMO, and I prefer the smaller size and the solid-color as opposed to the metallic finish.
I want a new Macbook, but ONLY if they upgrade the one i ordered last tuesday... >.>

If you read the linked article you will see that the guard exchanged gunfire with the 2 male suspects. It's not excessive to try to save your own life...
It still must feel bad knowing you killed someone. I mean the intention was likely to wound to remove the threat rather than kill. Even if all was justified, the guard will likely need counseling or time to get over it. If he actually enjoyed it then he's in the wrong line of work.

Microsoft is suing homebuilders for offering "Windows" in their homes. Instead, they need to refer to them as "transparent viewing portals".
"Portals"??? Did you say "Portals"? you can't say that! It could be trademarked too!
How about "Shoe Store"? is that a trademark too? If not, I should patent it and sue all of them.
Regarding the term "Windows", I have no idea how M$ got away with suing "Lindows". their claim was that phonetically there was a similarity that could confuse the public.
Repeat after me: "Lindows, Windows". Did you get confused? I don't think so.
Repeat after me: "AppStore, App Store". Did you get confused? What? Where? Sounds the same?
Based on their "Lindows" precedent, M$ has no ground to refute the lawsuit.
The Terminatorwait, now conroe is "widely expected" in the powermacs? I thought woodcrest was... I still think it will be:
mac pro - woodcrest
xserve - woodcrest
imac - conroe
macbook pro - merom
macbook - merom (but months later)
mini - merom (but months later)
We shall know soon! :)
sorry about that. story updated.

So much for freedom. Leave it Apple!
Arnoldgahhhhh.....these iphone rumors are driving me crazy....with anticipation. When is this gonna finally happen? Hopefully before the end of the year.
I think it will be here for Christmas, if not then not till next summer :(
arnold schwarzeneggerThe current design is still beautiful and didn't get old over time - still one of the best designs for Laptops ever ... but hey, they might come up with something even more 'magical'.
Stuhlbarg as arnold are marI'll believe it when I see the invitation, a proper one, not one of my dodgy photoshopped ones.
was arnold schwarzenegger,It just occurred to me, that in Leopard iChat has a thing called Remote Desktop Express. This could easily be used in the new device to send Front Row to the TV!
Apple, I'm sure is thinking ahead. Or they plan on releasing the new iChat on the 12th.

Somthing else that people don't readily think about is the fact that when paper is recycled, there are more chemicals put back into the environment in order to break it down to pulp than would be used to turn new pulp wood into paper.
Well yeah... Afterall, it's a lot quicker to mass-produce paper dissolving chemicals than it is to grow new trees. :)
It's like electric or hydrogen powered cars... Sure, the cars are "green" but that electricity comes from somewhere. Oh, that's right... we still have to burn oil, coal and natural gas for that. And hydrogen? OK, that's a better solution, voltaics (solar and such) can generate that, even in the convenience of your own home with a decent catalyst and some water. But we're just not quite there yet...
Personally, I like atomic energy, but it's received such bad press over the years...

I don't usually speculate, but I find it interesting "Showtime" is capitalized. Could the downloads be part of some partnership with the cable channel? Just wild speculation on my part.
-p-
They already sell Showtime Shows on iTunes
I wouldn't go so far as to kill someone. If I killed them, how could they learn a lesson?
-Don
What if your actions unintentionally led to the death of another? What would it take for you to learn your lesson?
Your car is a lethal piece of machinery over which you have only limited control, even less so when you go over the speed limit.
Remember, no one enters their car with the intention of making a lethal mistake, but it happens all across the country every day to hundreds of individuals, many of which thought exactly what you're thinking right now.
Just ponder it.
This whole thing is getting silly. Seriously MS, do something better with your money.
Fanboy much?
Have you seen the list of companies Apple is suing...
You know, I'm thinking people really want an iPhone. And I'm also thinking that they want it so bad they won't even consider the source of this information.
Usually, a rumor like this wouldn't get three pages of comments without somebody mentioning that this story comes from ThinkSecret. In case you're new here, MR readers have a habbit of panning ThinkSecret. It's worse than panning really, it's more like slaughtering any news that comes from ThinkSecret.
It's fun to watch members battle out mobile providers.
Ford! No, Chevy!
I mean...
Sony! No, Sony sucks, buy Panasonic.
I mean...
Verizon! Nooooooo, Verizon drips off donkey b*lls, go with Cingular!
You folk crack me up. Thank you.
HAHA! I was reading all of this and, at about the 2nd page, I thought the same thing as you did. ThinkSecret has really sucked at life lately, they probably got this rumor wrong. And besides, I want Verizon anyways.
