I hope this doesn’t become a trend because getting acid thrown your face is no joke. The first incident occurred in Vancouver, Washington. And I’m still waiting for the media to call it a possible hate crime because the victim Bethany Storro is White and the woman assailant is Black.
Mesa police said Friday that the 41-year-old victim was being treated for second-degree burns to her face and chest area after the attack Thursday. Police say the act does not appear to be random. They are following up on leads to find the female suspect, between 30 and 40 years old.
